GOALS
- To introduce the community to The Barn at Raccoon Creek and garner critical acclaim for the renovation project and the venue itself before its grand opening in May 2015.
- To help The Barn at Raccoon Creek book 20 weddings for the 2015 season.
OUR WORK
We led a local publicity campaign to publicize the ground breaking of The Barn at Raccoon Creek. We planned and managed a ground breaking ceremony that featured the official breaking of the ground on the project, a raffle giveaway of one waived site fee (up to a value of $5,500), site discounts to attendees, tours of the historic property and refreshments from Gigi’s Cupcakes.
RESULTS
The ground breaking event was a huge success with more than 65 people in attendance. Notable guests included former resident of the property and Grant family member Newell Grant, as well as Jefferson County Commissioners Faye Griffin, Casey Tighe and Donald Rosier, who participated in the ceremonial ground breaking. Some of the noted press coverage we garnered included Fox31 Denver, Denver Post’s YourHub Jefferson County edition, Denver Business Journal, Denver Life Magazine, Centennial Citizen, Foothills Transcript, Colorado Real Estate Journal, and more. Five weddings and one special event were booked for the 2015 season in direct correlation to the ground breaking event and its corresponding publicity. Our publicity efforts also contributed greatly to The Barn already booking 200% of the venue’s projections for weddings in 2015.
